June 21 - Two lectures

PLEASE NOTE: I have not had the chance to watermark all of my photos, and it will take me a great deal of time, as I published this and my other blogs between 2010-2017. I ask you to respect my property. Feel free to use them as long as you credit me as follows: Photo by Jody McBrien, learningtheworld.org. Thank you.

It POURED out today. Rainy season really hit. Of course - it is the day I had to dress up and deliver two lectures - one late morning for students in the Faculty of Education, and one late afternoon for anyone to attend in Global Square for the Global Lecture series. Both were on refugees, but the first one emphasized education, and the afternoon one concentrated on policies. I was honored - both were filled with over 50 for the first and over 100 for the second. I wish I could get attendance like that at academic conferences!
